Lalala.. just came back from work. Work's fine. Can't really complain. Especially when we get to eat Taiwan styled food everyday. 3 meals a day are provided for free and if it isn't enough, the nice taiwanese uncle will cook more stuff. So, we'd never go hungry. wahahaha..
Learned stuff too. Learned to serve customers and communicate with people. Now I don't get that nervous while serving people anymore =D. Also learned to make Green tea and Red tea. Gonna learn to make other drinks soon I hope! haha. oh yeah, definitley made new friends. Although we aren't that close yet, but it's great to just communicate with totally different people I have never met. Polishing up on my communicating skills now. =D

So, tomorrow the tauke's son is leaving for Taiwan. Awww... Now Kuching has one less handsome guy. >_< He's just hawt la, got that super star face.. loL~ when he came into the restaurant in formal after pickin his sis, omg, he just looks kewwwlll!!!!~ lol~ Too bad he had to leave early to take picture and spend the last night with his friends. oh wells.. hopes he come back in July. loL~

When it comes to describing my dad, I just dunno where to stop. He's just that super dad, who does all sortsa sports, meet all sortsa ppl, own all sortsa gadgets and play all sortsa instruments.
I've been thinking, and I don't know why, no matter how much I cry because of disagreements with him, I just can't stop admiring and respecting him. There's just something about him that makes him the most important, admirable and amazing person in my life. It just hurts whenever I disappoint him the slightest bit. Somehow, I just love him for the way he is.

TOday, 27th February 2007 is Daddy's 50th Birthday. My old man's half a century old, and I'm so super proud and happy of that. ^^!!!!

I planned alot, I really wanted to make this day special for him. Maybe prepare dinner and a cake. But he called me at noon to tell me that a condominium friend had an open house party at the cafe so we'll have dinner there.
So, Me and Daniel decided to just get a cake for him. Went to Taka after work and picking Daniel and gotten a cake. We were so excited and I just felt the cake was so worth it because, hey! how many times does ur old man turn 50??

But little did I know, the open house party tonight was actually an excuse to gather my dad's friends to celebrate his birthday for him.

The thing that surprised us, well, ME, most was they had prepared a CAKE for him and took it out to him after our dinner.

My feelings were suddenly jumbled up. I was crazy and laughing all night long earlier while talking with Aurelia and Julian. But, just suddenly, I can't laugh neither smile anymore. I was glad and proud that dad was happy and that all his friends were just so wonderful to plan such a great thing for him. But at the same time, an arrow pierced through my heart. My plan on giving him a birthday cake was like, 'copied' or 'taken'.
It's like, You really love someone, and you prepare beautiful roses and a wonderful gift for him/her, hoping that he/she would be so happy and touched because you're the only one that would do that for him/her. But, someone else just happened to have done what you have planned before you. Damn it's that kinda feeling.

Didn't know if we should give the cake again later or not since we were all bloated with food already. But mei hui said to go on.
So, this lonely cake waited patiently at home for daddy.
















It was 11pm something, nearly 12am. Dad came home. yeah. he was surprised. He blew the candles, and even though he didn't say much, I'm sure he appreciated it. He couldn't really take in a piece of cake anymore and I understand that cos I was pretty full as well. So we agreed to leave the cake for tomorrow's breakfast. oh yeah, gave him the keychain with his name that I ordered while I was in KL last month. I just put it infront of him and said it was from KL and walked off cos felt too embarassed. Damn, hate that kinda paiseh feeling. Anyway, Hope he likes the keychain.

Later, While putting the cake in the fridge, tears fell from my eyes. I have no idea why too. I didnt even noe if I was Happy or Sad. Just, felt too much tonight.

Well, Glad dad had a great day. Happy birthday, my dearest father, Glad to have you as MY dad! Love you so much!! =)

Dear diary,

whoa. so today is my 1st day at work. My 1st part time job! wooh~
yeap.. FIRST. >_<. I'm helping out my dad's friend's new taiwanese restaurant called Dong Feng Po which I mentioned about in an earlier post.

This morning, arrived kinda late cos wasn't sure wad time to be there. haha.. When me n Siea ting entered, there were a couple of teens there already. Those kids were 19 year olds and all just finished their last year in Chung Hua No.1, and all preparing to go for further studies.
They were nice. Introduced themselves but still can't remember all their names. =\

Me and Siea Ting were thought on how to take orders and serve. Well, my chinese wasn't that gud so took me sometime to get used to the chinese menue (was thinking that I'd do much better in a western restaurant. swt.). Later, during lunch time, more customers came. Tried taking orders a few times but was kinda lame at it. SIGH! I'm very not 'zhu dong' oso.. haha.. duno when to go do sumthing. But I'll learn!!! grr~~
There were quite a number of us waiters and only not so many customers. So, me and Siea Ting were kinda like just standing there doing nothing most of the time. A lil bit like idiots. lol~

While I had ntg to do, I was like looking at the dishes coming out one by one and tried to recognize them. But DAMMIT! looking at the food come out was just making me suffer. lol.. how i felt like eating them. Looked sooooooooo yummy!!!! sob sob!!!

So at 2pm, they said my day shift's work was done and I could go home. was kinda sad tho cos here I am now, bored as ever, blogging blogging blogging. haha.. Damn... I'm bored. Come to think of it. I don't even mind if I were to work the whole day. haha. hey! maybe I'd do that!! haha.. Atleast there would be more life around me than just sitting here like a vegetable in the sitting room in front of my pc. I need adventure and new faces! aghhhh~~

Well, Tomorrow I'm going for day shift again. Hopes I'll do much better tomorrow. =D

Phew!

So today, well, last night, was saturday night and I just HAD to go out.

Brought Mei hui and her sis and Kimberly out to Dao for a drink. yum yum yum. Later, Kim wanted to look for her sis and I was too energetic, so, nomatter how late it was, I just HAD to go too! hahaha... so, I sent Mei hui back, put my car back home, and took Kim's car from my place to look for her.

It was 12am by the time I was going to leave the house. Owh man. Dad saw me from the balcony and immediately called me when he saw me got into Kim's car. swts, oh no! *CAUgHT!*. Told dad we were going to look for her sis so dad just told me not to get back too late (knowing that nomatter what I'll still go. tsk tsk *guilty* =P).

VROOM~~ the ezi kelisa went. not much power for the lil auto gear but, owelz, not bad lar.

Ended up at City Jungle and watched ppl dance and listened to the music. SUDDENLY, DAD CALLED! omG!! since it was so noisy, there was no point answering the call. so i didn't answer. I was kinda worried and was thinking of what to say to dad to explain why I didn't answer the call. wanted to tell him I went to a pub and it was noisy and I didnt hear my phone. swts. was also worrying that he'd so kill me and scold me and I just imagined the worse!!!

at 1am smthn, we left the place.

On the way to the car, I checked my phone. and went, WTF?!?!? there was a msg from my Dad!! swts swts swts.

*Opened the msg*

It read: "Buy one pack of Dunhill 4 me."

wAAADD DAA?!?!??!?! I like was Totally Relieved and Shocked!!!! My dad asked me to buy a pack of ciggs for him when I ReaLLY thought he was gonna kill me for going home so late. BUAHAHAHaA.. Love my dad!!! So happy that he trusts me. wakekekee~~~

So stopped by 24hours on the way back. Got dad's King Size red pack of Dunhill and headed home.

1.40am. *handed dad the ciggs.*

*wondering what he'll ask*
"was he gonna ask me where I went?? was he gonna bann me from going out at night?? was he gonna say smthn hurtfull? was he gonna complain about my attitude???...................."

He started talking, "I want you to go marketing tomorrow."

*Confused.* "Me alone? why?" I replied.

"With Daniel lo. I'm going Kayaking tomorrow. "

SwT.

Relieved and surprised, I went like, "ah HUH~~~!! Nowonder!(in a sarcastic teasing tone.)"
"Alright, I think I can do that" I continued.

He chucked a bit and handed me the cash.

Looks like the quality of this week's food supply is up to me and my skills.

Hey ya ppl~ I'm back! Whoa.. been so busy at this time around CNY. Been running here and there and had not stop driving since the day I got my license swts~ haha.. That's why I havent been blogging. =P

So tons of stuff happened this week.

1st, 2days before cny, my old Hitachi flat screen TV got spoilt. Derno wtf happened to it. It was almost CNY so my family was panicking worrying that we won't have a tv for cny. (which would be really sad)
















so, we got a new one the next day. =D















a Toshiba 37 inch LCD screened tv. whee~~~~ but the bill is shared between me, dad and bro. -__-"


The night before cny, we went over to my Aunt's unit to eat and see the firework show.

the 1st day of CNY was totally spent at home. SLEPT the whole day cos my old man was too tired and lazy to go anywhere to visit. owells.



2nd day, we only went to 1 family friend's house. which was Uncle Chris's.

then forgot if it was the 4th or 5th day, we went to my Dad's good ol friend's new Taiwanese restaurant to eat.

The restaurant's name is "Dong Feng Po". Opened by a Taiwanese family. Opened daily form 11am to 9pm. Located Opposite Hidden Treasures and Jade Pot Tea House(town's one).

then it was the 5th day and I was freaking bored. Visited Aurelia and Eric Tan. Then, brought Aurelia to Hock Lee to shop.

It was so still at 1st that I thought it was just a statue. but little did I know that it was a robot. WHen I got too close, it suddenly started moving and shouting some weird stuff. OMG was so F***ing SHocked! Practically screamed and shivered and gRabbed Aurelia really hard!!! so damn creepy larrr *cries*

Later, went to Patio to eat. =D































was kinda empty when we arrived. cos it was pretty early.















I just LOVE the Spaghetti Carbonara there. It has rich cheese and just tastes awesome.















Aurelia's fish and chips were pretty good too.

Yeaps~ so it was Valentine's yesterday. No post yesteray cos was too busy shopping with the 'eng tao' Elaine Ho. hahaha.. We went to saberkas and did seriously long but 'fruitless' shopping. Well, not that 'fruitless' cos I ended up spending more than RM100 -_-""" shoot me.
Told Elaine I wont be spending money for sometime and was only gonna spend RM20 max that night.
Parking at Saberkas was easy for me, I was so lucky to have a parking spot at Saberkas's lower car park. But the awfully tragic part was.. I ended up paying RM14 for parking there. I know, WTF!?!?!?!?!?! I was only there like 2-3 hours and they charge me RM14?!?!?!?!?! Sue them!! never parking down there again. Hrmmpppfff!!! wont even go back to Saberkas in a long time!! hrrMmppff!!!

Okay, got home in the evening and got ready to go out with Eric and Godric to 'chou' valentine de 're nao'. whee~~ Jil didn't answer my call. *sob* So it was only 3 of us.

We wanted to go Bing but Padungan road was too jammed up so we ended up going to..




















Oregano. swt.. my hopes for not spending more than RM20 tonight was shattered.
It was only 8pm something so the place was kinda empty.

Back to my Valentine's night at Oregano..
The chairs and tables were mostly set for 2. With a wine bottle in the middle and a big heart baloon sticking outta the cork with sweet romantic words written on it. aww~~ pretty..
hrmm~ But 3 of us were just 'so' lucky to get the table with only a bottle or Shiraz in the middle and NO baloon =( cos other tab les were occupied. oh well..




















Stewpid Iced lemon tea cost me RM3.80.




















Eric tried the Whisky on Rocks, which was practically Chivas mixed with water with ice. RM15.80.

















Godric had Lime Gin Fiz which tasted like Sprite + soap(gin) + water + lime. (hrmm) RM12.80


Later, the food OnLy took 1 hour to reach our table. dot dot dot.. Anyway, while waiting, I was entertained with some shows that was on stage infront one of the pubs at Travillion. There was shuffling, dancing and some other little games. I watched from a distance so didnt see much. The ony most memorable performance were a bunch of slim half naked girls dancing on stage to Pussy Cat Doll's - Buttons.
















okay, finally, my Spaghetti Carbonara. Served in a humungous plate but in a small portion. RM19.80.
In my opinion it's a bit too watery, but tasted alright. Still prefering Patio's.

- too lazy to go out.

- No one sms and nothing to sms about (can leave phone alone for hours!)

Shopping's always a good idea but $$$$ is my current problem and kuching's shopping malls are just so lame. hahaha.. i mean, after I went shopping in kl last month, I just can' t buy anything in kuching anymore, just feels so not worth it. sighs~ went shopping with huan xian and aaron yesterday. Came home without anything.. sienerz. It's like we entered 7 shopping lots/malls and practically finished the whole kuching already, and there was NOTHING i wanted to buy =\. oh yeah, was my 1st day driving my manual gear car without daddy. Needed tons of concerntration which was just so tiring and stressful. But in the end managed to arrive home safe and sound. haha. hmm!~

Had so much fun and ate like crazy.. Never been so full from eating steamboat! haha. Also never realised How cold Hui Ping and Andrew's jokes can be! can compare with Kenny yeo them.. hahahaha.. Laughed alot. So gonna miss them!!

Later, went down to matang for a ride again. swts~~ this time it was Kelvin and Yik Yong's idea.. hahaha
















this time we went further than before and Jerome Ang drove!! omg! You all know how crazy this dare devil is. He went to 135 again on the very bumpy road. Further down to Bako where there was no lamp posts on, he offed the lights to play with Yik Yong.. but there were no cars la.. then.. wtf?!?! a roundabout appeared outta no where! Skidded once! then we were all like shouting at Jerome. But the road was wide so we were safe. Later, on the way back, skiddded again! and same mistake! but same la, wide road. whoa!~ I SO WANTED TO STRANGLE JEROME that time. ARgHH!! good thing Jerome now has a phobia at dark unfamiliar roads. loL~ Thank God for protecting us!
Well, this would be the last time we go down there cos driving there really cost lotsa $$ on petrol, which you all know i'm too stingy to spend on. Besides, I'm too young to let anything happen to myself!

These few days have just been BORING! Practically sat home and watch tv the whole day.
Finished watching Xing Ping Guo le Yuan last week and MVP Valentine this morning.

Sigh! most of you must have watched MVP qing ren years ago! I know I'm really slow on these taiwan dramas stuff. But what to do, I'm only free enough to catch up on these movies now wad. hahaha..

WAhahaha~~~ Passed my driving test today^^

was super kinteo in the morning, worried i can't make it over the hill, worried i'll knock a pole while side parking and worried i forget to do stuffs when i'm driving. But in the end, all went well. The only most embarassing thing I didn't do was to put on my seatbelt before moving the car! swt! and the JPJ examiner guy was so fierce, he went like,"stop looking at me and look at what YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN!"
my heart beated so fast.. *prays that won't fail me*
In the end I passed with 17/20.. PHEW!!!

Tonight, recieved an unexpected sms from Aaron. He asked me out with Ching Ho and his cousin. ^^!! (about time!Boredom was starting to get to me) Well, C.Ho was so kind to let me drive his Saga. ^^ So vroom to town we went. Met up with Kelvin and Yik Yong in town and walked around Sarawak Plaza's NIke and Adidas area for a while.
After that we headed for open air market. Ordered 20 sio bi(s) and soya bean milk. Eat eat eat and tok tok tok.

Then we got bored and went down to Matang area. Bako to be exact. =D
The guys let me take the wheel again so, VROOM!! WHEE!!~~~
A day for me to remember: the 1st day I got my P license, I drove to A Hundred and Ten. =D
Car was shivering and wasn't strong enough to go any faster on that not very leveled road. So, that's about the fastest I went.
Don't worry, I wont do that often. hahaha..

Later C.Ho got cheeky, and asked Aaron to bring him to see Pondans(Guys who dress/TURN themselves like/INTO girls) prostitutes/gigolos.

Since we were all curious, we all agreed to go. I thought these pondans would just be walking around or sitting at a coffee shop or smthn.

but little did I know that they were standing on something like a deserted little grass field in the dark by the road side! There were QUITE a FEW of them. All standing saparately in sexy FEMALE clothing. Flexing, flipping their hair and turning around looking for "business".

OMG, I thought that reminded me SO much of NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC!!! it was actually INTERESTING!
BUAHAHAHHAA... SO REGRET for not filming it!!! buahahahahah

So, that's about my cool day today. Gained some knowledge =P and a bit driving experience. ^^
