yesterday night, been to a em.. how do i say it.. business thingy.. smthn to do with Omegatrend's marketing plan. so they had this marketing plan change and dad's fren Anthonia asked me to just go have a see n listen. so, out of boredom, i just said, okie! and brought huan xian along.
when we reached, the 1st thing we noticed is, most of the ppl around were young working ppl. mostly dressed in formal.
*looked at self* hmm~ t shirt, torn jeans, worned out shoes.. hmm~~
ok~ nvm~~
so we listened to this Australian guy give the talk about the new R&R plan. (dont ask me.. i forgot what r&r stands for *blush!!* i'm ignorant rite? sighs..) so as he was explaining the plan. I could undestand at 1st, but as he got deeper and deeper, i was feeling more and more lost.. swts... the talk went on for about 2 hours.. in the middle i was like trying VERY hard not to yawn and TRIED to concentrate. but my mind just kept drifting away.. (especially when i kept feeling my phone vibrating. had 6 new msges and couldnt reply them.. swts!) the only sentances that kept keeping me awake was, "there's alot of cash involved!" and "u are going to earn a lot of money!"
well, actually the talk was quite interesting. i learned about A business plan!~ i learned how this sorta market worked. It's not a lot but it's something! and that's pretty cool~ ahah..
i realised how much i didnt know and how new the working world is to me. Marketing and business is like, a totally new world for me whom just finished high school. I realised i had tons more to learn. swts.. somehow i feel rather lazy and ignorant. c'mon, i never and will never wanna study Busines or marketing or economics, even tried to block the thought of learning more of this stuff.
but.. somehow, i couldnt. i knew i had to grow up someday and this was the opportunity to learn more..
blah~ grow up daphy~ u're so free~ go learn more! dun just stay home sleeping, eating and onlining! shame on u!!..
*yawns* going for brunch now.. Morning to all!! =D
